At Pacific Joint Space Facility (PJSF) our primary mission is to provide a robust Australian-based spaceport in the Rockhampton area with easy access to both equatorial and polar launch vectors. This makes launching large, medium, and even small size rockets with payloads such as communications satellites, structures, telescopes, automated resupply vessels, environmental monitoring systems, scientific probes, and other payloads into orbit far more efficient, safe, and cost effective for the customer. It also makes it much easier to recover both reusable and single stage to orbit vehicles after their mission has been completed, increasing overall efficiency, and lowering customer costs while at the same time providing for a very aggressive launch tempo.
Our ideally situated location gives us access to a deep-water shipping port, heavy railway, and a commercial airfield, making delivery, staging and assembly of spacecraft components, hardware, payloads and personnel easier than ever before.
oUR vISION
Our vision has also led us to create partnerships in lunar habitation, environmental control systems, lunar hydroponics, lunar oxygen, and water generation, along with active denial defense systems as well as biosynthetic research, fusion nuclear power generation, and advancement in space medicine. We at Pacific Joint Space Facility seek to provide the preeminent geographically strategic, and geopolitically superior spaceport to launch the next generation of payloads into Earth orbit, the lunar surface and beyond.
